STEP 1: QUALIFICATION

Before spending time and resources on a solution, let us qualify the building with the following sources.  The minimum requirements for this would be:

 

(1) Number of units / number of floors

(2) One water bill

(3) Address of property

STEP 2: INSTALLATION

Once qualified as a good candidate, begin installation of the reed equipment in common corridor.

No suite access required.  Installed in the hallway of your building on the main distribution risers.

 

Identify the cold water bathroom risers and apply the non-invasive sensors on these lines.

STEP 3: MONITORING

By monitoring the consumption per riser, the reed platform is able to distinguish normal use versus water waste.  Once the waste is identified, the automatic alert can be generated to your service provider, so they can make the necessary in-suite inspection and repair.

STEP 4: REPAIR & VERIFICATION

Once the issues are identified, shortly after installation, the repairs can be made.  The overall water consumption for the building will decrease as the water waste will be eliminated.  Once the “normal operating usage” is determined, the system and service provider work cooperatively to ensure it’s maintained there after.

 

Measuring the ROI can now be validated.
